New technological advances are improving our lifestye like never before!
New miniature nanotechnology detectors recognize unique sound patterns in the environment and selectivly adjust amplification to isolate and amplify human speech while reducing background noise. |
Adjustments are automatic and instantaneous, allowing you to roam freely, from a windy beach, to a noisy open convertible, to a crowded meeting room, a symphony, or a quiet meeting place, all without ever having to touch or manually adjust your hearing instruments. |
New active spectrum analyzers completely eliminate feedback - canceling buzzing, whistling, and humming background noise automatically.
Nanoswitch microphones sense the signal of a telephone and automatically switch to acoustic telephone mode every time you pick up the phone at home, at work, or anywhere you stop on the go. |
Telephones, cell phones, and other sound devices can be connected directly to your hearing instrument for the ultimate sound clarity and reproduction experience from a communication or entertainment device.
Bluetooth wireless technology makes mobile connected perfect sound a reality. |

New small behind the ear models are nearly invisible and can be previewed right in the office or fitted same day with no waiting for ear impressions. Open air designs use a miniature speaker that does not block or obstruct the ear canal so your ears do not feel plugged or pressurized. |

CIC's (Completely-In-the-Canal) are the smallest hearing aid type and are almost invisible in the ear. All components are housed in a small case that fits far into the ear canal. This takes advantage of the ear's own natural sound-collecting design and offers convenient telephone usage. This style is used for mild to severe hearing losses. |
A bit larger than the CIC, the ITC (In-The-Canal) hearing instruments also fit far into the ear canal. Canal hearing aids use a slightly larger battery than the CIC style. This style is used for mild to severe hearing losses. |
The larger ITE (In-The-Ear) hearing instruments can be used for a wider range of hearing losses. Due to their size, they can allow for larger sound amplifiers and more features, such as a telephone switch. They are often much easier to handle than the CIC and ITC. This style is used for moderate to profound hearing losses. |
With BTE (Behind-The-Ear) hearing instruments, electronics are housed within a case that fits behind the ear. Tubing and a custom made earmold direct the sound to the ear canal. BTE hearing instruments have a stronger amplifier and larger battery than smaller styles. This style is used for mild to profound hearing losses and is available in several colors, for hair and skin tone matching. |
